A.I.C. - Italian Farmers' Association is a social power that has been endeavoring for almost forty years to increase agricultural productive system, to protect environment and safeguard food security in order to keep the civil society development tidy and balanced.

Moreover it is representative to agricultural agencies and authorities, in order to develop economics, to look after their own rights, to re-launch the agricultural role in our society, to get the same dignity and active participation of the farmers in our country democratic life.

In this context the research is very important to promote innovations that can improve our agricultural system whose main function is no longer producing food but also safeguarding the environment. Production has an important but not leading role.
